Around Here...

Hey there!  How's your first week under this daylight savings going for you?  Am I the only one who finds it extra difficult to get out of bed?  I have felt like I have been up for weeks these past few days.  Today was much easier at getting up and getting my day started, though. {thank goodness!!}
One good thing about daylight savings being here is the fact that warmer weather is upon us....hellooooo 70+ degree weather days!  It's great seeing you....better enjoy it before it gets to be 100+ degrees, huh?

Here's a look at some of what has been going on in my life lately.....

1. Took my sewing machine to get serviced.  There's nothing better than sewing with a newly serviced sewing machine....it's much more quiet + my stitches are looking extra good! ;]  I think it's safe to say we're ready for lots of sewing!

2. Celebrated my niece's Birthday.  {I made her that card} I still can't believe she turned 11...thanks for making me feel old!  Oh yeah, why merry birthday?  We're weird like that :]

3. Been spending much more needed time with my furbaby, Hobbes.  He's been having some health issues, so all this playtime has been a nice break from vet visits.

4. This little one is too much fun.  She looooves to read!!

5. Hobbes cooling off during playtime....no, he's not drinking beer.  ;]

6. We have been surviving off these.  We finished 8 boxes in a matter of one and a half weeks?  Oh my, we're officially done with them.

7. Got this bad boy in the mail.  Time to get some product tags sent to my embroidery guy!

8. Celebrated my dude's Birthday.  I actually baked a cake + made a special dinner for him.  I had not made a cake since my cat's birthday....that was over 11 years ago!!  Yes, my cat, Jimmy, was a special little guy.

So this is what has been keeping me busy lately.  What have you been up to?
